The role holder will be responsible for mentoring the key Agile roles within digital factory, with the goal of improving the quality and efficacy with which products are developed leveraging an Agile methodology. Agile Coaches act as a conduit between technology and business to ensure that all voices are being heard.

Underwriting And Claims Manager
Reporting to the Head of Insurance Operations & Support Service, KCBIA the position will be responsible for the overall Claims strategy and ensuring all operations are in compliance with the Insurance Agency’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Have appreciation and operating knowledge of the general insurance industry (especially operating dynamics of East Africa), market and global trends as well as challenges
  • Have extensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements processes, procedures and operations of insurance companies and brokers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other departments/stakeholders in the successful resolution of operational issues.

BUDGET AND RESOURCE RESPONSIBILITY: The position is responsible for oversight of research grant budgets and project assets.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective project plans are in place for EDD projects, working with the Principal Investigator and project team to develop these and monitor implementation of the same, from initiation through to implementation, monitoring, evaluation and closure; identify when projects are not running according to plan and initiate corrective action.

Reporting to the Head – Network & Infrastructure Support, the Network Support Engineer will be charged with the responsibility of  developing, coordinating, and maintaining the corporate data network and disaster recovery to ensure uptime and business continuity.
