Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with the standard procurement policy for all purchasing transactions
  • Data Entry of key procurement data  on the database
  • Maintaining an updated register of vendors.
  • Help generate PO’s and dispatch to vendors.
  • Receiving deliveries from vendors as per the purchase orders through liaison with the school operations administrators
  • Ensuring all invoices from vendors are received and prepared for payment in line with the Nova Pioneer payment schedules
  • Any other duty as may be assigned to you by your supervisor.
Skills & Experience
  • You have at least 3 months to 1-year experience.
  • Diploma in Purchasing and supplies or any other related relevant field.
  • You are a great communicator as well as have good negotiation skills.
  • You are results driven: You are goal oriented, move fast and take ownership of work.
  • You are entrepreneurial and empathetic. You are able to understand the various Nova Pioneers’ stakeholders and think creatively about how to effectively communicate to them.
  • You have very strong organization, time management, and follow‐up skills; high sense of urgency; demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • You possess a growth mindset and a desire to continually improve through feedback, coaching, and professional development.

Internship Period: 3 months (non-renewable)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Projects Officer, Strategic Projects, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in developing and customizing a Project management system in PHP and SQL as per the Authority’s requirements
  • Assisting in integration of the Project management user interface with the database.
  • Provide support to Project Officer by maintaining project information on the Project Management system.
  • Updating schedules, Project statuses and information on the Project management system.
  • Handling requests for Information and data from the Project management system
  • Preparing/ customizing reports on the Project management system.
  • Undertake other assignments as assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any Information Technology related field or Projects Management
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
  • Must be able to build full-scale web applications in PHP from the ground up and have knowledge of PHP.
  • Must have experience with relational database design and optimization techniques using MySQL (or similar RDBMS)
  • Must have a working knowledge of prepare statements in MySQL
  • Good communication skills and teamwork;
  • Proficiency in standard office IT application packages as well as e-mail and internet

Responsibilities
  • Effectively handle clients calls, queries and emails
  • Identify and communicate ways of enhancing customers experience
  • Clients complaints management
  • Keep all relevant clients records and contact details
  • Assist in the preparation for external and internal client related meetings
  • Help administer the company’s databases with a focus on CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Build strong relationship management and integration with other business units across the company for efficient services delivery to clients
  • Track pending clients’ paperwork; updating pending items to ensure all the necessary KYC documents are properly filed
  • Acting as the lead in providing an integrated approach across different business units to ensure effective customer service
  • Client profiling, segmentation and client database analytics
  • Follow up on signing of Letter of offers, and sale agreements for our real estate clients
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree (second class honors - upper division) with a minimum of B+ in KCSE or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to details and follow-through
  • Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion with minimal directions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill the most important takeaways to guide next steps
  • Strong IT skills will be an added advantage
