Job Purpose
This role is responsible for providing support in carrying out audits by providing independent, objective assurance and consultancy services in order to improve the group overall operations, with specific emphasis on the controls, governance and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing various business processes and documents to check for controls and compliance with the company policies which includes Physical Asset verification and conducting systems audits. This involves:
  1. Conducting interviews during audits
  2. Preparing working papers for the various audits
  3. Developing and administering surveys
  4. Summarizing audit issues
  • Detecting fraud and conducting follow up investigations;
  • Identifying all risks including people, technology and process risks, and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of controls;

Solutions Developer (BI)
Save the Children has been operational in Kenya since the 1950s, providing support to children through developmental and humanitarian relief programmes delivered both directly and through local partners. Current programming focuses on child protection, child rights governance, education, health, HIV/AIDS, livelihoods, nutrition and WASH. Role Purpose:
Working with members of the global IT team, the role holder will be responsible for building, implementing and supporting Business Intelligence (BI) solutions within the organisation.
