Logistics Associate
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:
  • Executing Input Distributions throughout the growing season – this includes planning for and setting up hundreds of market points in rural areas that will allow farmers to access life-changing inputs within walking distance of their homes.
  • Serving as a lynchpin coordinator between departments for major annual One Acre Fund distribution processes.
  • Managing a team of warehouse and logistics professionals. This includes roughly 15 warehouse teams as well as an office staff dedicated to critical activity planning, providing key oversight, and managing third-party partnerships.

Mt Kenya Program Operations Associate
The Mt Kenya Program Associate will be responsible for leading our current operations and future growth in the Mt Kenya region, an area critical to achieving our highly ambitious scale goals. The role will be based in Nyeri and will be required to build upon our newly established program to expand operations around the Mt Kenya area. Kenya Logistics Core Unit Lead
The Core Unit Lead guides and manages the overall direction of the Core Unit of the Kenya Logistics Team. This person is responsible for all planning and execution of One Acre Fund’s Input Delivery year on year.   • Develop organizational Key Performance Indicators and targets for data management, forecasting, and order timeliness.
  • Aggregate and report on supply chain KPIs quarterly to organizational leadership.
  • Use reporting tools to drive behavior change within supply chain and across the organization with monthly purchasing, inventory movement, and forecast accuracy reports.
  • Mentor supply chain staff to build leadership and project management skills.
  • Set ambitious goals for your direct reports and support their achievements.
  • Identifying strong talent pools for recruiting high quality supply chain staff.
  • Become familiar with One Acre Fund teams and structures to ensure your team is effectively supporting their internal clients including Finance and Logistics.
  • Build outstanding communication channels to deliver overall process transparency to your internal clients.

Qualifications
  • We are seeking exceptional professionals with experience in and a passion for procurement and supply chain. Experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
